So its live now and I've had a chance to spend about 2 hours with the multiplayer...
The new mode... Warzone
It feels a bit like Battlefield with added objectives. Theres more of a sense of urgency with the new mode as you need to cap all 3 points to enable attacking your opponents core but thats not the only way to win. Its more or less the first team to 1000 points is the winner and the NPC bosses that spawn can have upwards of 150 points just for the one unit. Sometimes Hunters spawn that are worth a good deal but killing is usually the main way to earn the points. Capping objectives is also a good way. Expect to hear more as I hope to crack into the campaign at some point and give that a good go. I can see myself losing many hours in the coming weeks to this game which is going to be hard considering I've got a new baby at home as well as 3 others vying for attention when im not plunking away at work.

Two Sides of the Same Coin
I mentioned before about how 2 of the shows I'm watching have very close similarities... Well, 4 episodes in and it seems that they continue to have similarities...
The Asterisk War and Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry are 2 sides of the same coin IMO.
TAW MC (Ayato) - Younger brother looking for his older sister in a magic school. Has his powers bound by his older sister but no clear idea why yet.
RKC MC (Ikki)- Newest generation of historically powerful Magical Knights but was born with very low magical aptitude and shunned by most of his family.
TAW Love Interest (Julis)- Seen by MC on first day of arrival in her underwear while getting dressed. Gets super pissed and tries to kill him.
RKC Love Interest (Stella)- Seen by MC on first day of arrival in her underwear while getting dressed in their room (they are roommates and didnt know). She slaps him and then challenges him to a duel where his life and freedom are on the line.
And the hits keep coming... Both MC have super strong abilities that have a drawback. Ayato is completely OP but the seal on his powers put there by his sister limits them by time and afterwards he passes out. Ikki has low magical abilities but has trained himself to be able to unlock his physical limiter and be super fast and powerful... Itto Shura I believe he calls it. After its over (only a minute or two does it last) he also falls knocked out by the physical strain on his body.
I intend to continue with these 2 shows til the end and if anything else that seems eerily familiar show up I'll come back and edit this post.

Halo 5 Is Loaded!
So I bought the pre-order for Halo 5: Guardians the Deluxe version. I cannot wait until this is available to play. Sadly, I have to open at my job on Tuesday so I don't think I'm going to get much play time with the game until I get home on Tuesday or even later into the evening as I usually spend time with the family when I get home from work. After watching some gameplay vids I'm thoroughly stoked about the potential of the Warzone game mode and I may have to hop back into the Master Chief collection and play 4 so I can get a handle on the storyline. We shall have to see...

Star Wars Battlefront Open Beta
Over the weekend that just passed, EA unleashed the beta for its upcoming shooter, Star Wars Battlefront. I had the distinct pleasure of playing it both by myself and with a couple buddies.
Firstly, this is was a very polished Beta. Frame rates were pretty smooth and the controls were just about on point. Not a whole lot of input lag like I found in the Rainbow Six Siege beta a few weeks earlier. There were only 2 playable game modes. One was Dropzone, which is an objective based domination type of game. Only 8 on 8 but the maps werent that big in size that it wasnt hard to get around. The second type was Walker Assault. It was almost like conquest except that you had to activate beacons and hold them to let the bombers do their worst on the huge AT-ATs that were such a menace on Hoth.
There were also only 5 levels to gain to hit max. That let you buy all the extras for the unique equipment system. Instead of 'loadouts' you get a 'hand'. It basically consists of 3 pieces that you can change and that have different abilities or effects. I didnt play enough to earn the credits to purchase all the lvl 5 stuff like the jetpack and the other rifle but what I did play, I liked. There is a very good chance that I'll be purchasing this game but I'm not sure its going to be able to tear me away from the likes of Madden '16 and Destiny... Both of which occupy the largest portion of gaming that takes place on my box.

A New Season is Upon US!!!
Holy shit... Its time for another new season and a slew of new shows to digest. This one seems incredibly full of possibilities... A few of which I have already started to watch... Lets hop right in!!
1st up... Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. I've watched ep 1 and like most gundam shows I'm already a fan. Lots of possibilities with the plot and I like where the show started. Good looking show that I intend to watch all the way through.
2nd and 3rd on the block - The Asterisk War and Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. Both these shows involve a special school for youngsters with abilities that have to fight in tournaments. The MC of both end up seeing their love interest in the buff in the opening episode and end up fighting and defeating them even though they are supposed to be inferior. Good stories and nice animation. I have been reading the Cavalry manga and Its been good so far.
At 4th is Heavy Object. This show is about war thats no longer fought by people but through Objects. Large war machines that have super advanced weaponry. Appears the MC is a student engineer learning about the Objects and making friends with a Princess who pilots one.
In at 5th is Lance N' Masques. Simple show about a kid who has a white knight complex that he cant control. When he sees a lady in trouble he has to go to her aid. He finds a lil girl who needs his help and shes the daughter of a major conglomerate.
Lastly to be getting watched is Testament of Sister New Devil Season 2. Nothing to really talk about with this one... Its season 2 of a show I enjoyed the first time around.
Fringe shows that have piqued my interest but I'm not all in just yet....
Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-. Kind of seems like Bones the TV show. The MC loves bones and appears to be a forensic anthropologist of some sorts. Pretty decent story and nice animation. There's a hint of comedy so I may watch more.
Komori-san Can't Decline! - Saw 1 ep and its shorts... like 8 to 10 minutes I think. Very cute and simple with no big plots.
There are a few more shows I'm watching but I'll leave them for another time...
