Finished a Couple...

So I watched the end of two shows that I enjoyed. One was a carry over from a previous season and the other was a 13 episode show that began this season.

-Fate/Stay Night (Unlimited Bladeworks)
I've seen the other versions. This was a retelling following the unlimited bladeworks storyline. I have to say that I rather enjoyed this. You always had the notion from the other series that Rin and Emiya were going to end up together but I don't recall them actually doing it. Seeing it here was a welcomed addition to their characters. Not sure yet if this is my favorite iteration of the series but well worth a watch for anyone who likes the Fate/Stay series.

-Plastic Memories
This show took me by surprise. Very simple and not over the top. Bittersweet love story between a cyborg/android (I'm not really sure what to call them) and a young man just starting out at a new job. Decent animation and just enough character depth to care about what happens to them along the way. I'd recommend taking a peek at this if you have a chance hopefully you'll enjoy it as I did.

SAO and Fate/Stay Night

New ep of SAO came out today. Looks like they finally were able to go home. After an update to ALO, the New Aincrad 20-30 floors open and as the group progresses, they defeat and unlock floor 22... This is reminiscent of the first series. When Kirito and Asuna get married they kinda take a break from the front lines and go settle down in a house near the lake on the 22nd floor. Asuna has wanted to go back there soo much and its almost like dream come true it seems.

Also, a new challenge presents itself in the form of 'Zekken'... An imp swordsman who takes on all challengers betting a unique sword skill as the prize. Seems that everyone in the group has lost to him... except Asuna. I think this new Arc will have her become the MC for a bit... at least thats how i see it. I dont mind either way... hope this show just keeps on coming.

Seems like years and years have gone bye since I originally watched the first Fate/Stay Night series and it seems I'm even more enthralled this time than i was last time. Rin finally attacks Emiya as he's at school without Saber and is defenseless. Their battle leads them outside where they find a young girl unconscious and near death. Emiya saves Rin from a Servants attack and haphazardly chases her into the woods. I recognize her as 'Rider' from before and she nearly kills Emiya. He's saved by the bell so to speak by Rin who is now indebted to Emiya once again for saving her life. They retreat to her mansion where she treats his wounds and they talk about Emiya's dad and what little training he's received in the way of being a mage.

Both of these shows are awesome and I'm gonna be sad to see either one go.... And sadly, I'd bet they are both going to end at roughly the same time.
