Games with Gold for September

Everyone likes free shit right? Since June of 2013 Microsoft has been giving away games religiously every month through this program. There have been some really great games along the way and owning them digitally is a real help. You can basically download them whenever you wanted... Even though it started on the 360 its continued its legacy on the Xbox One.

Forza 6 is Almost Here!

I have been playing Forza since its inception on the original xbox. I've literally owned every single one. I think 4 was the best simply for the sheer amount of content that came with the GOTY edition... which I ended up buying as a second copy. Yes, I bought more than one copy... and it wasn't the first time either. I actually bought 2 copies of FM3 as well.

So it's that time again...

This year its a whole new ball game... More cloud computing and Drivatars and now we get the new Ford GT and a boat load of Autovista cars. In 5 there weren't that many that got the full Autovista treatment but this time I think its like 400+ cars and the gameplay is running in 1080p60fps. Thats blazing fast.

I just downloaded the demo and played through the limited career mode they offered... Which is about 3 to 5 races long and at the end it opens up the Rivals Mode which has leaderboard functionality. I only did the first race and my first time was good enough for about 800+ place on the leaderboard. I'm sure if I spent more time with it that I could probably get it down but who's got time for that? There are far too many games coming out this holiday season... Not to mention that Madden is still in full swing. I really wanna pick this game up but it may have to wait.

Gamescom is OVER!.. but not forgotten

So Gamescom 2015 is over and it brought with it a lot of great stuff... I didn't get to see it all but what I did see I really liked.

Well... not exactly.. Tax returns are here!! I got mine and a shiny new Xbox One. 

Picked up...

• The Xbox (duh!)
• Titanfall Controller
• Forza Motorsport 5

• An extra year of Xbox Live
• Some rechargable batteries for the controllers

I will say this... it did take a bit of time to get everything up and running though. The interface is very similar to what we had on the XBOX 360 but doesn't work like it at all... I guess I'm going to have to get used to it and until then it all just seems a tad clunky to me. Hell, I cant even access my Plex server from the damn thing. I thought it was supposed to work WITH windows? I'm pretty sure I'll be getting my game on for the next few days and i think i may not be able to find the time to update this as often as i'd like.

I am definitely still watching anime... and i'm almost caught up on most of my series. I actually watching some last night...

On a side note... i bought a 3DS XL for myself. I feel like such a kid again... chasing after pokemon and following Link through his adventure. Best $220 i spent in a while.
