Destiny!

If you're a gamer and you don't know about Destiny them you're probably living under a rock or playing offline indefinitely because you don't own an Internet connection...
This game is going to be huge... Really HUGE! Bungie is a great developer... Who can forget Halo? I meant Mastery Chief is the man. So... The beta just started and apparently they're letting any Tom, Dick and Larry in to play. I need to download this when I get home and get playing.
But how am I supposed to treat myself from FIFA? Decisions, decisions...

Little bit of awkwardness

Blue Spring Ride.

This is a cute little show about first loves and second chances. Only started a few days ago but I gonna watch it all the way through.

Check it out

I hope you enjoy it...

Don't Sleep On 'Em

If you haven't taken a look around at the shows that stayed this season I suggest you take a lil bit of time and check them out.
Akame ga Kill!
Rail Wars
Aldnoah
Sabagebu!
Blade Dance of the Elementars (sp?)
These shows show real promise... And deserve at least a chance. Akame ga Kill is awesome and will only get better.

Online Pro Player

So I'm getting into FIFA more and more and now I'm playing in drop-in matches as an online player. Its kind of cool matching up against other players and watching my player grow but I have a long way to go before he's any good.

Josh mentioned this game face thing that EA does through their website. I actually got to put a picture of myself in the game and it stretches it to match the model of the player. Just Google EA game face and it should come right up. Cool but looks a lil weird at first. Can't wait to see how much better he'll get if I continue to play.

Sword Art...

Are you watching this show? Please tell me that's a yes. They are doing everything right with the new series. They're not rushing and they're adding characters while giving them depth. Find myself waiting in anticipation every well already and is only episode three.

We just got done back story for the other MC of this serious the blue haired sniper in GGO. She's got some major trauma from when she was younger involving guns. Yet inside GGO it doesn't bother her. Interesting to say the least.

Futbol?

The world cup ended with poor Messi not able to seal the deal after making it all the way to the finals for the Argentina National team. People still see him as the best there is in the game of soccer. I, for one, have never really been a fan of watching the sport but the world cup seems to have given me the FIFA bug.
Lately I've been playing FIFA WORLD beta. It's a free-to-play game from EA. Is kind of like FIFA 14 watered down. But hey... free to play is free to play and who can ignore that... But... I broke down and bought FIFA 14 for my Xbox One. Josh, one of my friends at work has really pushed me into this world of soccer on the console. All I can really say is that is awesome and really addicting. I can't wait for this year's version in September. I know I should've waited but I couldn't anymore.
Hell, I've got it so bad I'm listening to the soundtracks on my phone to and from work on Spotify. I even made a playlist for it. I have to say that these are serious tracks... These soundtracks are legit.

New Shows With Some Promise

So I've been watching these new shows and Adobe aren't half bad.

Rail Wars seems like it's going to be a fun little entertaining show. Lil bit of ecchi going on with some quirky comedic moments. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on that one.

Aldnoah Zero looks interesting but I don't know if I can take another space humans vs. earthly humans story without there being some twist. That is unless it's a Gundam story.

Persona 4 and Tokyo ESP are both very interesting. The latter dealing with psychokinetic ability users at war... Can't wait to watch more. Persona is more about another reality... At least that's how it looks. I'll be watching and giving updates as things unfold.

There are a couple others but I'll get to them next time.

Need to stop making this a habit

Man I need to post more... so SAO 2 is in full swing and I couldn't be happier.  You need to watch this show.

Also check Akame ga Kill! Great plot and it's cool to see how far they are going to go with a gory Manga like this.

I'll be back later with more info on the new shows... I downloaded a bunch of episode 1's and I'll get back with what ones I grabbed and are they worth watching.

Holy Hell... It's been a while, right?

So its been a while since my last post and I've been busy as usual keeping up with all my series plus I've also been real busy gaming on my phone... I know, weird right? Who really games on their phone now a days... I think I spend probably an hour or more almost on their daily playing games... Mostly Clash of Clans... That shit is addicting... but enough of that... onto the ANIME!!

There were shows ending right? Like I said before, I'll talk a little about that but before I do I'd like to spotlight some new shows that just started for this season...

<drumroll>

SWORD ART ONLINE IS BACK!!!
I have to say... I'm super happy this show is back... This was everything that an episode 1 should be. Established characters... pointed the story in a direction and kind of left it open for the series to properly take shape. I CANNOT wait til this gets into full swing. The last series is one of my favorite shows of all time... Hell, I've honestly watched it 3x already... and it's 25 episodes, thats like 2 seasons worth of watching. The 2nd series is going to be around the same length as well... I urge everyone... WATCH THIS SHOW! Also, if for some reason you've been living under an anime-less rock for a while go watch the first series... It was amazing!

Second show I'm very excited about is a Manga-based show called Akame ga Kill! I have to shout out to the creator of this great story... I adore the manga. I've read everything thats currently available to me... that is, that was translated and put on one of the major manga reading sites like Batoto, Starkana, or Mangahere. I really hope they can bring the essence of the manga to the screen properly because this manga is BLOODY! So far so good, I liked the first episode and cant wait for more.
Now I mentioned how shows ended right... Well, I'm only going to mention the ones I really think you should watch...

  1. Black Bullet - This show started off great and never let me go. The characters were endearing and you really felt the sadness in the stuff they had to deal with and persevere.
  2. Blade & Soul - The story was pretty good and ended up with some decent plot twists when I really wasn't expecting them. Also, the art on this show is top notch. Definitely suggest this one to watch.
  3. No Game No Life - Can you say... Cliffhanger?! Not that it was a bad ending by any means but you can tell they were always looking for Season 2 in the way they handled it. Anyway, this show is pure entertainment. There is always something crazy going on and the group dynamic is really fun. This is a MUST WATCH show IMO!
  4. Akuma no Riddle - Definitely took me by surprise... I don't watch YURI... like EVER! But this show kept it interesting and the action sequences were pretty decent. Kind of a predictable ending if you ask me but it was what it was supposed to be I guess.
  5. Gokukoku no Brynhildr - Another manga based but this one had an awesome plot and really original story. All the quirky characters with their powers were cool and I'd like to see a second series with this... hopefully there will be.
